My name is Ellen Marks and I am running for Congress in Indiana’s 2nd District.
I will bring my in-depth knowledge of the global economy, financial markets, and financial regulation to fight for your economic interests, help our communities and healthcare system rebuild after COVID-19, and make our policies more fair and compassionate.
As your Congresswoman, I will fight to make sure every Hoosier has access to affordable health care, even during a financial crisis with high unemployment. I will take action to lower drug prices and protect supply, so that everyone can get the medicines they need.
I will work to build a bright clean future, with renewable energy, green, good-paying jobs and resilient infrastructure to power a strong and fair economy and a healthy future.

I live in South Bend with my husband, two children, and two dogs. For the last 28 years, as a lawyer, I’ve helped companies and banks finance their businesses. I’ve also provided pro bono legal services that include criminal justice litigation and preparing consumer law handbooks for legal aid groups. I’m committed to building a more fair and just economy and a more compassionate government. And I will fight for a healthy planet for our children, their children and future generations.
